2.W&W - Willems & van den Wildenberg (Spain & Netherlands)

W&W is a strategic consultancy firm focused on business strategies, new business development and innovation and technology management, with offices in The Netherlands and Spain. For more than 15 years W&W has been supporting its clients in the identification, analysis and development of business opportunities, as well as in the definition and execution of their RTD strategies. W&W’s added value lies principally in the integration of partnering, markets, technologies and business. 3.VDI/VDE-IT - VDI/VDE-Technologiezentrum Informationstechnik (Germany)

VDE/VDI-IT is a German SME, set-up by VDE and VDI; these two engineers' organisations in Germany have a total of more than 150,000 members and are effectively the largest platform of engineers in Europe. The company’s primary objective is to promote R&D in highly innovative fields, such as microtechnologies. In this context, VDI/VDE-IT assists governmental authorities like e.g. the German Ministry for Education and Research or the German Ministry for Economics in developing strategies for accelerating technological development. Since its foundation in 1978, VDI7VDE-IT has provided assistance to more than 6,000 R&D projects, accounting for more than 1,000 Mio of public funding.

4.IoN - Institute of Nanotechnology (UK)

Founded in 1997, the Institute of Nanotechnology (IoN) was one of the world's first nanotechnology information provider, and is now a world leader. The IoN leads the European network of networks, Nanoforum (www.nanoforum.org) as well as working closely with governments, universities, researchers and companies worldwide on micro and nanotechnology. A membership organisation, current members include Unilever, Degussa, Lot Oriel, Sulzer, Veeco, QinetiQ, INSTM, Toshiba, Merck and ICI. For more information visit our website at www.nano.org.uk.

5.MATIMOP - Israeli Industry Center for R&D (Israel)

MATIMOP is a Government associated body with high degree of autonomy that has done several Nanotechnology studies for Israeli Government and private clients. Has a good contact with USA and completely coverage of Israeli.

6.Technology Centre AS CR (Czech Republic)

Technology Centre is a university body with excellent ties to Government as well industry. Completely coverage of Czech Republic and good participation in several EU project also on nanotecnologies.

7.VTT - Technical Research Centre of Finland (Finland)

VTT is the leading science and technology organisation in Scandinavia. Even before Finland entered the EU, this organisation worked intensely for EC policy makers on roadmapping. VTT is world-wide considered one of the best-run state-financed technology organisations, and has an extensive network in the USA and Japan in part because of this reputation. Throughout Scandinavia, VTT can directly address many policy makers, SMEs, industrial managers and also the general public due to its high visibility.

8.Yole Developpement (France)

Yole Developpement is a French SME consultancy firm specialized in multi-client roadmapping studies on several high-tech areas. These include the very promising areas of biochips, MEMS, optics; in France YOLE is considered a leading expert and has good access to many RTD managers in its specific areas.
